Extra virgin olive oil 100% Coratina cultivar. Obtained by cold pressing and natural dripping of only the best olives, chosen after careful selection.
Golden, with green reflections and shades, this oil leaves the palate with a fresh, pleasantly bitter and at the same time spicy flavor. Its taste recalls aromatic notes, similar to those of basil and mint and precisely because of this organoleptic characteristic it can perfectly match light dishes, based on vegetables, but also meats, especially white ones with a delicate taste.
In the triangle enclosed between Ambra, San Pancrazio and Badia a Ruoti, Calcinaia, a small town warmed by the sun in all seasons, is located at 400 m asl. Here, in the eighteenth century, one of the oldest kilns in the valley stood, which in recent centuries has given way to the olive trees from which today “Calcinaia” an extra virgin olive oil with an authentic and decisive flavor is produced.
